Chinese New Year Eve - Reunion Dinner 2016

7 February 2016
I have always love reunion dinners, nothing as heartwarming as having everyone in the family sitting around the same table sharing a meal together. We usually have a really really really delicious steamboat prepared by my MIL, but this year we decided to opt for cooked dishes because it's hard for a toddler to sit through a steamboat and also the washing up after that is usually quite a killer. Steamboat or not, my MIL's cooking hardly goes wrong, so the cooked dishes that night were still all sumptuous!

Watching Zoe bond with her great-grandpa was also another heartwarming sight. I love how this girl has this particular love for babies, kids and elderly, it makes my heart swell to see her knowing how to love at such a young age.

Be back soon with the rest of the Chinese New Year entries!
