New Ubin Seafood

Last week, I caught up with a bunch of friends whom I grow up with in church. Its been a decade of friendship, and I am thankful that we are still very much in touch even when we are now in different phases of our lives. We ventured to a really really inaccessible place for dinner - New Ubin Seafood at Sin Ming. This place has been on a rise in popularity lately, so I was kind of excited to try it out. We took a cab in but the cab driver couldn't find the place as the sign board for the block number was so tiny and we missed the turn in. Its located in the midst of an industrial area where there its all quiet and dark except this place that's bustling with crowd. We had their grilled beef which was in my opinion really good but a little pricey, we also had other rather good dishes like sambal kongkong, beef fried rice and salted egg yolk sotong. Our friends also celebrated my birthday with their hot chocolate molten cake with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream at the side, and I thought it was really delicious! If you are heading down, do call to make a reservation!
