9 Weeks Old - Major Milestone

During my pregnancy, one of the things that Jiahao and I confessed daily was that Zoe will sleep through the night by 2nd month onwards, and it has finally came to past last week and we are elated! Her last feed is about about 1am and she wakes up at about 630am or sometimes even at 7am. Though its not very consistent that she sleeps through every single night, but it's a good start to our peaceful undisturbed sleep! Hallelujah!

    1. 3 weeks is still too early to sleep through i think! They normally start to sleep through from 2nd month onwards! We cultivated a habit like at 9pm we will feed her in her room, lights off and with the lullaby. After that we will swaddle her and put her in the cot for her to sleep, but usually she would fuss after a while and wants to be carried. So we will carry her for about 10 mins or less and she would doze off and we will put her back in the cot. At midnight I will feed her again regardless if she is asleep and usually after this feed she will fall asleep on her own in the cot. Initially when we started to get into this routine, she would not sleep after the 9pm feed and we have to sometimes carry her till midnight (everything done in her room, with the lights off etc), but we just kept sticking to this routine and eventually i think she gets it that its sleeping time and it became easier :)
