Valentine's Day 2014

This year's Valentine's Day was a very simple affair for us; no gifts, no flowers, no expensive dining out. We decided to have fun in the kitchen making breakfast for ourselves, wearing our PJs and eating in the comfort of our home. We had scrambled eggs, home made pancakes, made from scratch potato pancakes, toast, grilled tomatoes and coffee/green tea latte.

After spending 7 years of Valentine's Day together, I can't believe this is the last one we are celebrating on our own. Recently, I have been treasuring our time together a lot more and not taking those quiet moments of reading on the bed together for granted, or just those mornings where we can take our time getting ready for work. Its scary to know how our lives are going to very much changed in another 2 months' time, and I am definitely going to miss the times its just us only. But yet deep down, I am sure when our baby girl comes along, I will take back those words, and I will be saying things like that she has completed our lives and why didn't I have her sooner etc etc. Right?
