Staycation: Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa Singapore

Check out the peacock outside our room!

This is a 2 months overdue entry! Part of Jiahao's birthday celebration was also a surprise staycation at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa Singapore. He didn't have a clue about it till the night before, which was after the birthday celebration at Pepperoni Pizzeria (Read here). Honestly, I love a staycation at Sentosa because its pretty much a world on its own. And one of the things we really like our stay at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa is that the whole place is so so quiet, plus we had the infinity pool all to ourselves even though it was evening time and it was supposedly to be a peak hour for swimmers. We explored the island in the night, taking long long strolls and catching the Crane Dance which was rather amazing. And if there's anything that the hotel can improve on, I would think its the bed... its rather hard and not the fluffly kind of feeling where you lie down on most hotel beds. But overall, I would say its a really pleasant experience staying there, hopefully we will be back soon!
